NASA Mid-Atlantic 2021 Season Schedule

NASA Mid Atlantic wishes all of you a Happy New Year! 2020 is done, bless its little heart and we are optimistic for 2021. NASA is pleased to announce its schedule for 2021. We are also very happy to see the return of OG Racing, Hagerty, Titan Fuel Tanks and Titan 7 wheels as preferred Mid Atlantic partners.

2020 was a bit of a goofy season. We had wanted to have a late January banquet for the 2020 season awards in Richmond, VA, but with the current environment and restrictions, we cannot make a definite plan at this time. If we cannot work this out for a reasonable date, trophies will be shipped directly to those having earned them. We are truly sorry for the variable nature of this process.

Registration will open on Friday January 15 for all events. It is important to note that for 2021 we have moved the HyperFest date to October 1-3, 2021. The Grassroots Motorsports Magazine Ultimate Track Car Challenge will move with the HyperFest festival and take place on October 1. We look forward to returning to the traditional HyperFest mid-May date in 2022 assuming that after the alien invasion that is sure to come, our new friends dig burnt rubber and the smell of race gas.

We miss you all and can’t wait to drop the hammer on the 2021 season.

Toyo Tires Regional Championship Program Update

We have some good news regarding the Toyo Tires Contingency Program. Toyo has allowed NASA to lower the race requirements for the Spec Tire Regional Championships from 8 races to 6 races! This is a Covid-19 adjustment only for 2020. This doesn’t represent a change for 2021.

Drivers will need to submit to our Prizes Portal and www.nasatoyobucks.com a screenshot of their End of Season Points, highlighting their finishing position and clearly showing how many races they participated in. Note that this is for the Toyo Tires Spec Tire Regional Championships Program only.

The NASA national office has updated the Toyo Tires Contingency Program page reflecting the change and have notified the Toyo360 team to accept and process claims that meet the new requirements.

If drivers have any questions, please have them submit a Support Request.
